What is the best resource for pool cleaning and maintenance?
Hello 
We just inherited a beautiful gunnite above ground pool . The pool guys showed me very quickly and briefly how to use the filter machine (Technical term?! LOL) with the filter / backwash / waste / rinse settings. I am very confused. We are trying to vacuum the pool with the suction attached to the skimmer and a long hose / pole. We scrubbed it down yesterday first. Anybody have any helpful tips or websites or books I need to read to maintain my pool?

They are both great pool cleaners. It just depends on what you are looking for. The Polaris is less expensive and does a great job of cleaning. The Dolphin, being a robotic cleaner, is more expensive. However, it operates off a computer chip that is programmed to clean your entire pool with little or no human interference.
