Kreepy krauly user guide

I have a Kreepy Krauly and need to know which direction it should go.? I’m a new owner of a pool. I installed my Kreepy Krauly and I think that it’s going in the wrong direction. I know this sounds stupid, but it’s currently moving towards the hose end and not the “star end”. It seems to make sense that it should move away from the hose end. Kind of like a vacuum cleaner. Is this thing moving backwards? Thanks for any input you all can provide.

Got the same product and yes, it will look as though its going backwards if its going toward the hose end. Its working fine though. It will cover the entire pool over the course of the day……very pleased with mine.
Kreepy Krauly goes where ever it wants to go (all over the pool) it might take some time though. It is also a very good product. Did you submerge your hose completely under water to get the air out? The hose should not be floating on top, and plugged in tight. This is the only thing i can think for it doing what it’s doing.
Actually it is working correctly, thats how they function. It will climb the walls and move in arratic patterns as long as it is hooked up. Eventually it will have covered most areas of the pool. Check out http://bestpoolcleaner.org I may be able to help you over the web.
